My first trip to the continent was in 2017. A mother-daughter trip to Zambia in honor of my mother and her love of elephants. I would never be the same. There is something about this place that changes you, makes you appreciate your life, reshapes your soul and makes it deeper with greater gratitude. I crave this place and am always in awe whenever I visit.

So many descriptive words for this place....wild, free, beautiful, BIG, harsh, friendly, mountainous, valleys, rivers, blue sky, sunsets, wildlife, horses, cattle, wolves, bears -- where the animals out number the humans. A place to watch the tall grasses sway with the wind, and where sunny days are common.
